Michael, a graduate of NYSCAS University in New York City with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, is the founder of the agency. With over 20 years of experience in music, community media TV/radio, marketing, and advertising in New York, he has worked and produced shows with renowned artists such as Lenny White, Haley Reinhart, Randy Brecker, Nathan East, Bill Evans, Rufus Reid, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Al Foster, Mike Stern, Samara Joy, Joe Lovano, Kenny Barron, Jazzmeia Horn, Buster Williams, John Patitucci, Dave Weckl, Jesus Molina, and many more.
Michael Brovkine is the proud founder of Made In New York Jazz brand launched in 2010 #madeinnyjazz. 3 years later Michael introduced the first online jazz competition, followed by the inception of the International Jazz Gala in New York in 2014. He later co-founded a sister festival in Europe, Montenegro establishing a bridge between New York, Balkan and European musical cultures. Michael has been the driving force behind transformative projects, including the Brooklyn Roof Top Series, Jazz at the Mall, Immersive Concert Series creating unique platforms for performers to showcase their talent. Answering a call in 2022, Michael took the helm at a management and booking agency, where he remains dedicated to supporting and nurturing emerging talents while steadfastly promoting the timeless beauty of music across the globe.
